David Canales represents clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, private equity investments, and general corporate matters, in both domestic and cross-border transactions. In addition, David has experience drafting and negotiating energy-related transactions in connection with projects, investments, and divestments. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, David worked for another international law firm, and prior to that he worked as in-house counsel for an international oil and gas company. David’s fluency in English and Spanish uniquely qualifies him to review, analyze, draft, and negotiate complex legal documents in both languages.
